The Australian Marine Complex (AMC) is a world-class centre for excellence for manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, maintenance and technology development, servicing the defence, marine, oil and gas, and resource industries.

Located in Western Australia, 23 kilometres south of Perth, the AMC has been developed to enhance the opportunities created by the clustering of industries and is home to the largest marine industry in Australia.

The AMC has established international credentials for the repair, maintenance and construction of naval and commercial vessels, as well as infrastructure for the fabrication and assembly of offshore oil and gas modules.

Outstanding record

The CUF has established an outstanding record for project delivery, and is recognised as a centre of excellence for shipbuilding and repair and maintenance work for commercial and Royal Australian Navy vessels.
The facilities available at the CUF have enabled companies to secure and deliver fabrication and assembly projects for large infrastructure modules used in mining and oil and gas projects locally, nationally and internationally.

Beyond expectations

Since opening in 2003 the facility has surpassed all expectations, generating in excess of $2.4 billion for the local economy and creating more than 37,400 jobs through some 417 projects.
